This is my spot for thinking about language, technology, society, artificial intelligence, and my new home America.

I am interested in minds, behavior, communion — drama, crisis, social contracts, desires and love.

I am drawn to things that are not supposed to work but somehow do. I think friendship saves humanity. I think conversation saves the world. I think collective good starts with strong people doing bold, unexpected things.

I am by training an aesthete, linguist, and dramaturg. Since 2016, I have been the founder and CEO of the intellectual salon platform Interintellect. I host The Hope Axis podcast. I tweet at @theannagat, and oversee @interintellect_ - @thehopeaxis on X. My personal website is annagat.com.
